I couldn't agree more. There are so many ideas out there and limited resources. The correct model is important and will get the money from investors.

After viewing this video, I am a bit more convinced that making up big numbers is not really meaningful to a lot of VC's.. but i am sure that some number crunching is important as it makes the entrepreneur think about the business model

What a nice "view from the inside" - every aspiring entrepreneur should take some of Mark's advice very, very seriously before and while embarking on a business project. Your taste can be different (not everybody feels that we need to try yet another NFL variant) but your attitude should be a reflection of Mark's recommendations on how you can (or fail) to induce potential investors to let go of their money.
