Bambi Francisco May 13, 2008I'll be writing a longer post tomorrow, but I wanted to make a brief comment here. I have to hand it to Disqus. These guys have figured out a clever way to not only capture email addresses, but create user profiles that aren't even verified or owned by anyone. It's an interesting way to acquire new users. Essentially, Disqus seeds a user profile with comments a user makes on a Disqus-hosted blog in hopes that the commentator will one day take ownership of that profile.
