Full bio

Yulia graduated from Moscow Aviation Institute in 2002 with a degree in Economics.

Her career started at a large electronics retail company in Moscow, where she quickly rose to become a product manager. She worked in that capacity in several large retail companies. Her greatest professional achievement prior to starting Winz was driving her company's sales from the 6th pace to the 1st in her assigned market segment in 6 months.

In 2010 Yulia immigrated to the United States, and became an SQA engineer. She tested over 300 of mobile apps and 100+ web apps, and gained a deep understanding of best UX and UI design practices.

Yulia is also an avid sports fan and a photographer. Every time she went to the game, she wanted to post a picture that would have real scores in it, and was unable to find an app that would do that. That is how the idea of Winz was born.
