I am a(n):

First-time entrepreneur

If you're an entrepreneur or corporate innovator, why?

I want to invent something cool.

My favorite startups:

TagWhat, RedRover, Waze

What's most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?

Wanting to do it all -- now! -- but needing to whittle down a huge, awesome idea into something achievable...and still awesome.

What's the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs/innovators make?

It will take longer than you think!

What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?

1) There is no substitute for the founders' passion. Some things just can't be delegated or outsourced -- sometimes it's the passion and the vision that makes the sale or gets the job done.
Passion!
2) Some things can't be rushed, and some people can't be made to rush.
Patience!
3) Deciding what not to do is just as hard as deciding what to do.
Prioritization!
