Thomas (Tom) Vellaringattu

Tom started his IT career in 1987 at Doubeday Book and Music Clubs in New York. Later he managed the largest mainframe appication at Smith Barney (Citibank) for 6 yearis. In 1998 he got involved with Internet doing website and content management development for small businesses. Using that knowledge he came up with the idea for SocialPulse to create a social network that helps individuals (and students) and businesses on a local basis.

Currently working on http://socialpulse.com a community based social network to connect communities, residents, students, professionals and merchants.
