Dr. Martin has worked tirelessly to treat the narcotic epidemic threatening his patients, his practice, and his community.  After becoming overly frustrated with the lack of tools necessary to effectively and safely treat patients suffering from pain in his community, Dr. Martin collaborated with professionals from the pharmacy, insurance, pharmacy benefit management, pharmaceutical manufacturer, law enforcement and information technology sectors to create ScriptGuard. As the Chief Medical Officer and Co-Founder of ScriptGuard, Dr. Martin has applied his skills as a community speaker, medical device consultant, pharmaceutical educator, and prescription drug monitoring program advocate to make ScriptGuard the gold standard in evidence-based prescribing.  Dr. Martin is a board-certified pain management physician who practices in Aliso Viejo, CA, is a member of the California Medical Society, and is a staff physician at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo and Laguna Beach
