Rewarding: Building genuine value out of an idea that can positively affect peoples lives.

Frustrating: The long sales cycles

Not following up on customers after pitching.... and then following up again and again and again....at least 5 times

What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?

1. Crystal clarity in knowing our ideal customer & how do we qualify them.
2. Having a reliable and growing source of qualified leads - not using the sales guys to generate leads
3. Having a sales process and conversion funnel that can be measured at every point

Sadiq's innovative efforts to bridge technology to 'people' requirements have been applied in initiatives across major central government organizations like the Cabinet Office and The DWP, as well as blue chip companies EDS, CSC and Bupa. In his role as Director of Marketing, Sadiq has been challenged to look at the world through the lens of hybrid communities, temporal networks, and location-aware services.
