Rob spent his early career
in technology and business consulting, having managed a national supply chain
consulting practice at KPMG Consulting before being recruited to a Crosspoint
Ventures-backed start-up, E2open, in 2001. He forewent an opportunity to be Partner in 2001 to join E2open. During his eight years at E2open, Rob held numerous roles as
part of management team including Head of Product Management, VP of Solutions,
VP of Business Development, and head of the Aerospace & Defense
vertical. He helped establish
E2open as the leading provider of Software-as-a-Service (Saas) supply chain
applications. Most recently, he
was the VP of Sales & Business Development where he secured multi-million
dollar contracts and successful global deployments at companies such as Dell,
IBM, Motorola, Vodafone, Raytheon, Embraer, and Boeing. As a passionate
software developer and avid social media user Rob saw a need to redefine the
way social media works at a local level, truly integrating local businesses
with people in the community that are looking for advice and recommendations.
