Patrick Dietzen brings over a decade of early stage tech venture operational expertise. He is a Managing Partner at DoubleRock, an early stage VC group based in Silicon Valley. He also serves as VP of Business Development at SaurikIT, which owns and manages Cydia, the top open software store on mobile devices. Patrick has played founder and executive roles in numerous technology ventures. He founded Sirigen Group Ltd, a molecular diagnostics company selling market leading chemistries for biomarker detection, which are based on ultra bright materials and are critical to healthcare diagnostics and life sciences research. Sirigen was acquired by Becton, Dickinson, & Co. in 2012. He served as the President of LetsCram, a social e-learning web service, and he founded and led an early web development company in Chicago, which provided nearly 30 clients their first websites. Patrick is a Mentor for the Technology Management Program at the University of California Santa Barbara where he graduated with a B.A. in Philosophy and Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Engineering Management.
