What's most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?

The most frustrating thing I have come across with entrepreneurship is that success does not happen overnight. It takes time - lots of time - and many iterations of your idea before you can get the traction you're seeking.

The most rewarding thing about being an entrepreneur is seeing your idea come to life - knowing that you're the reason that a product/idea/deal exists in the world. It's an incredible feeling!

What's the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs/innovators make?

Many entrepreneurs try to go at it alone. No one is an island. Surrounding yourself with the most talented, supportive, and engaging people that you can, as soon as you can.

What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?

1. Stay focused - There are always a hundred things you COULD be doing. Focus on what you SHOULD be doing.

2. Know your (and your company's) weaknesses - Fill in the gaps wherever you can - whether it's with complementary people or complementary products.

3. The hustle is not enough - Hard work alone will not make a company successful. You need a good product, a good team, and a little bit of luck.
