Uber, Whose Your Landlord, PopUpsters, Plum, Airbnb (if they're still considered a startup)
The highs are extremely high, while the lows are painfully low, and we sometimes experience both within hours of each other.
Here's an example: A few weeks ago we were invited by Microsoft to visit them in Seattle for Microsoft Ventures's Jury Day. On top of being fed the best food money could possibly buy throughout the visit, we also met with some of the smartest most brilliant people in tech. I exchanged jokes with the guy that invented Powerpoint. Within 24 hours after leaving Microsoft, I was back to eating top ramen and running around the city trying to catch a bus home.
Spending too much time building, not enough time testing and selling. I think 'perfectionism' shows up in the entrepreneur genome as a character trait more often than in any other profession. We never want to put out anything that's less than perfect so we keep building and redesigning. However, technology changes every day so you'll never reach a point where it's going to be perfect.

2. Bootstrap for as long as you can. Don't be rash with the cash.
3. Treat your team well. Teamwork makes the dream work.
