An internet entrepreneur, investor and advisor, Lynne's interest and passion for tech startups comes from both hands-on technical knowledge and high growth marketing/customer acquisition experience. She is a graduate of University of Florida, with a degree in Economics, with post-grad studies at Wharton. She lives in Punta Mita, Mexico, where she enjoys her ideal lifestyle of startups and surfing.
Lynne is a Managing Partner of MITA (Mita Institute and Tech Accelerator), a venture capital fund and strategic advisory program (accelerator) for early-stage tech companies, based in Punta Mita, Mexico. Bilingual and bi-cultural, Lynne has cultivated a unique specialty in working with Mexico businesses and governmental entities in effectively communicating with U.S.-based counterparts and clients.
Beginning in 1994, Lynne was an early participant in the Internet industry, developing business applications as a partner in Dot.Com Marketing (Chicago, IL), which was named one of the top 20 Web Developers in 1996. She also wrote about new technologies for an audience of professionals, as editor of e-com magazine.
