Laura Bushnell

Laura Bushnell has been advising high growth technology companies and entrepreneurs for over 16 years, helping them achieve their capital raising and liquidity goals. She is currently a partner in the Silicon Valley office of King & Spalding LLP, a global law firm with over 800 lawyers worldwide.  Since 1995, she has advised her clients in over $2 billion of capital raising transactions, such as seed and venture financings, initial public offerings - including PayPal's IPO in 2002 - and other public and private financings. She speaks regularly on topics relevant to the high growth company, such as how to prepare for an acquisition, director duties and liabilities, and due diligence in a venture financing.  Prior to joining King & Spalding, she was a partner at Latham & Watkins.  She holds a J.D. from Georgetown and an A.B. in Psychology from Stanford.
