Butterfield Speaks Associate Andrew Hurteau has a knack for making those who are not performers by trade look like performers by nature. He spent 25 years on stage challenging minds, moving hearts and sparking imaginations. Persuasion and inspiration are second nature to him. With 20 years of experience teaching acting, storytelling and communication skills, he has helped leaders in all professions develop and deliver persuasive messages and compelling stories.

Andrew holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from The American Conservatory Theater where he served as Director of the Studio ACT Acting Program. He has served on the faculty of Berkeley Repertory Theater’s School of Theater, The Academy of Art University, and California Shakespeare Theater.

Andrew is expert in the Power of Persuasion curriculum. From Media Skills Training to  Improvisation for Leadership, Andrew teaches a variety of workshops that will get your team on their feet, moving minds and leading change.
