Katrina Razavi is currently the founder and CEO of Marriage.com, an investment backed internet startup in Los Angeles, CA. The site is currently in development and will launch in early 2011 as a platform for couples and local wedding professionals to connect.
Katrina was the former Business Development Director for the innovative shop-through-video platform Shopflick.com. Katrina singlehandedly developed Shopflick's advertising capabilities through cultivating relationships with the top revenue generating e-commerce sites such as Zappos, Nike, Shopbop, Karmaloop, and Urban Outfitters. Within months of implementation Shopflick.com was one of the top publishers within major ad networks and the sales generated to affiliate sites grew over 500% by using Shopflick's video commerce model to create unique co-marketing strategies. Her experience at Shopflick is broad and also includes directing video shoots, vendor recruitment, and building strategic partnerships with relevant organizations and brands.
Previously, Katrina managed her family business which is a network of health care facilities serving the developmentally disabled population. There she managed a staff of over 100 employees, oversaw the day to day operations, and brought the facility technologically up to date by mandating the use of industry specific software that increased efficiency in patient care and monitoring.
Katrina also has broad business experience through a variety of internships she participated in while in academics in the fields of entertainment, finance, and real estate. Her academic achievements include an MBA with a Marketing Emphasis from Pepperdine University, and a BBA from the University of San Diego.
