I am a(n):

Entrepreneur

Companies I've founded or co-founded:

Virtual Dimension Art, Multitask Software, CloudProber, SortFLIX

Companies I've invested in:

Only invest in myself...no matter what. Don't need to specify a company or product.

Startups I worked for:

InPhonics,SortFLIX

If you are an entrepreneur, why?

I want to change the world.

My favorite startups:

All of them deserve my attention, if they have the confidence to start a company, they deserve my vote!

What's most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?

Well there is never enough time in the day to get all the stuff done you wanted to. Love to bring something new and useful and cool to the world. Hopefully they see it that way or will give me constructive feedback to improve. It would be nice to have a little more revenue/income but that will come if I do the right thing and deliver a good product that people like.

What's the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs make?

Not knowing what it really takes to run a business. They give up too easy when they aren't making money. They don't realize the money needed to stay in business, the sacrifice of budgeting, financing or going without a paycheck ( or a latte, or vacation, or new car, clothes, etc) if necessary to keep the business going.

What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?

Don't listen to naysayers - if it is constructive criticism from a customer, consider it.
Learn what everything means in the business plan.
Take a break here and there to rest your brain and refuel. You will come back even stronger.
