I am a(n):

First-time entrepreneur

If you are an entrepreneur, why?

Serendipitously fell into it...

What's most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?

There has been an old adage bandied about that I always think touches on the expression on the reward and the frustration. They say it takes the eloquence of a poet, precision of a mathematician, the heart of a mother & the drive of a soldier to be an entrepreneur. How frustrating to balance all qualities at once.

What's the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs make?

Taking money too soon.

What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?

1) Do not take outside money until absolutely time
2) Come to the same level of scrutiny with your core team as you do with your personal relationships
3) Focus. Focus. Focus - never worry about the eco-system for entrepreneurship before you worry about your consumers. They are your bread and your butter.
