Full bio

Jack Werner was born and raised in Milwaukee Wisconsin.  He attended Drake University in Des Moines Iowa.  After college, Jack spent many years in the restaurant industry managing restaurants, supervising a region of restaurant franchises, owning several of his own restaurants, working as a general manager of a restaurant supply company for 15 years and as a manufacturer’s representative for a large meat  processing manufacturer.

After 22 years of working for others, Jack joined Signworld as a licensee and operated 3-D Signs for 10 years at a $1,000,000 plus volume level.

In 2005, Jack sold his sign company to enter into a partnership with Ken Kindt, the President and Founder of Signworld, in preparation for Ken’s retirement.  In approximately two more years, Jack will succeed Ken as the President of Signworld.  It is Ken and Jack’s intent and desire to make the transition of ownership and responsibilities of Signworld to be as seamless as possible for the 250 plus operations.

Jack’s current responsibilities include new owner business operations training, sales and marketing training for new operations, as well as existing operation support.  Jack also works in licensee development and helping those.

Jack is married with 5 children and 5 grandchildren.  He enjoys work, family time, travel, golf, hiking,  time with his church, and is a board member for a  local homeless shelter.
