Glen has been an advisor and founder of several startups and consulting firms, with over 25 years leading real estate, engineering, and technology companies, including Environmental Capital Group where he assists in evaluating new startup technologies for investment; iPig, a pipeline and structural health management company where he was co-founder and post-buyout advisor; and 4D Imaging, Inc., a structural health management company that develops wireless instrumentation modules for buildings, bridges, pipelines and other critical structures.  Currently, Glen serves as the President of Berkeley Engineering And Research, Inc. (BEAR), a consulting firm located in Berkeley, CA, which was recently involved in the design of energy dissipation dampers for the Golden Gate Bridge. As past President of the Berkeley Property Owners Association (BPOA), he was instrumental in the passage of vacancy decontrol for residential properties in California.
