Timing is both the most frustrating and rewarding part of being an entrepreneur. If your timing is wrong it is super frustrating but if your timing is on then it's super exciting.
Failure to properly set expectations.
1. You can't achieve goals that you don't set for yourself
2. Set expectations very deliberately and iterate on them
3. Communicate well - keep investors, advisers and all team members up to speed
