Feeling alone when I know so many of us hit the same things and suffer quietly through it....I am honest about challenges and ask for help when I do not know the answer.
Rewarding: my amazing cofounders who keep my spirits high through all walks of life and remind me that we're here to help the billion+ people on this planet who do not yet have the educational access that has allowed me to thrive.
Starting with the wrong people. At EDDEFY we take a careful approach to recruiting and talent/company development to find the right mix of talent and vision with extraordinary dedication to learning.
1. Ask for help when you need it
2. Get clear about the goals and non-starters early on then filter the incoming traffic based on their fit
3. Keep a clear eye on whether the product solves for the need in the most elegant and efficient way. If it's too cumbersome or wasteful, keep designing down for simplicity and ease of use.
CoFounder of EDDEFY - Creating a personalized, lifelong learning toolkit that connects all of the different types of learning content adapted for the way you learn best.
I believe that everyone on this planet should have access to pursue their education - anywhere, anytime, in any country. We are building EDDEFY as a toolkit for learning that adapts to the individual interests of the learner and connects them with experts and mentors, peers and amazing resources to help achieve meaningful goals.
For the past decade I have been a producer, early-stage advisor, host, writer, facilitator, graphic recording artist and sculptor with a passion for interactive learning.
I love putting together pieces of complex puzzles to make simple and beautiful solutions for people. Visionaries who see the big picture and can take on action-oriented outcomes are my favorite collaborators. Feel free to contact me here.
I am the former CCO for Toyshoppe Systems & cofounder for this magical network of special effects artists creating a consortium of high tech talent based in Los Angeles, specializing in wearable technologies, models and props for film and large scale special event effects.
