Self-starter. Straight-shooter ready to give and get honest feedback. Undying determination. Enthusiastic to do well by doing good. Cosmopolitan. New York transplant originally from Maine via London, Tel Aviv, L.A. Valued executive in high-growth businesses. I grew the Columbia Medical Center community physician organization by 50% and strengthened connections between it and the Center, leading to an estimated 20% increase in referrals/revenues. I directed pay-for-performance initiatives for strategic future positioning, and wrote a business plan and executed the strategy leading the company's acquisition. Developed leads for over 400 new partnerships leading in a 10% increase in product sales. Engery, creativity, honesty I bring energy and enthusiasm to every day tasks or over the course of a project. I persist (and insist) on solving problems, discover the paths over, under and around barriers to progress, and am constantly on the look-out for resolution, compromise, bridges to mutual agreement. I believe in boasting achievements and being honest and up-front about challenges and rough-patches. My focus now is on the elderly’s access to healthcare, particularly through technology applications, and with a focus on mental health. Depression is a co-morbidity to, and has been shown to reduce costs for treatment of so many diseases that it seems like the obvious place to start. I am convinced that mental health is one of the most cost effective and overlooked treatments in healthcare, and am determined to put it on the map as a key to adding value. Stay tuned for more on that.
