What's most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?

There's a better way to do things. Sometimes it's just adding liquidity or an arbitrage opportunity that's simply more efficient. But that's better! And making those improvements can create avenues for more creative ways to create even more value. That's intoxicating.

And when you know you have the best solution in the marketplace. And it's up to you to find the partners, dodge the bullets, slog through the mud and climb the mountain to bring it bear. What about that isn't rewarding?

What's the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs/innovators make?

Not telling their wife :)

What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?

1) Being a great friend and a great CEO might sometimes conflict.
2) Momentum, keep making progress, don't ever stop.
3) Tell your wife. Her support is empowering and invigorating.

Whether it's from being molded through my professional career, or just who I've always been I see the world of business as a landscape to optimize. Wether it be creating optimal value to the consumer, eliminating waste, or simply adding liquidity or other forms of efficiency.

On second thought, I blame it on my work experience. 10+ years in operations at fortune 500 CPG companies will do that to you. But what I didn't expect to learn later by joining an organic diaper start-up was how much more optimally products can be delivered to consumers. And with so much more delight!

It's with those insights, that I finally made the jump and became an entrepreneur in a space notorious for operating suboptimaly.  And given it's emotional appeal, suprisingly delight deficient.  Fashion.

When you meet me, hopefully I come off as a regular to cool dude with a little bit more drive than the average. But my friends know me better than that. I'm really just an easily excitable nerd who's not very funny. But that doesn't stop me from trying.
