I want to change the world.

While I have worked in technology my entire career (I have almost two decades experience in product and engineering leadership roles at web and software development companies), I shifted my industry focus from entertainment and media startups to digital health after I went through cancer treatment in 2010. That experience made me realize I could use my technology background to help improve the US healthcare system (a $1.668 Trillion industry).

My company Intake.Me, Inc. is a digital health company located in Los Angeles, California that is focused on empowering consumers to make the best decisions for their own health. We strive to empower patients and providers at each visit to improve communication and outcomes.

Throughout my career I have recruited and hired high-functioning engineering and product teams, and developed product visions, plans, and systems that lead my teams to success. I have been told by my co-workers that they appreciate my ability to think strategically while being tactical at the same time. I started my career in technology as a web engineer and most recently was VP, Product and Engineering at the social commerce site ThisNext.com, and then I co-founded the digital publishing site Glossi.com.

Today, my focus is developing Intake.Me into a leading digital health brand and I also advise a handful of leading companies in the media, wellness and healthcare industries. I am happy to connect and hear about how we may be able to work with each other.
