Dao Nguyen

Dao Nguyen, founder of eGlobeTrekker, is a graduate of the University of Virginia, School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.  She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science with a minor in Applied Mathematics.  For almost two decades, she has worked as a core software programmer, designer, and architect.  Her vast technical experience includes: Microsoft and open source technologies, databases and data modeling, backend services and frontend clients, and web development. 

Always a visionary, Dao now embarks on her own endeavor: a project that combines her love of travel, photos, programming, and fun!  In her own words: 

“eGlobeTrekker is definitely an accumulation of my life’s experiences, both technically and personally.  I’m using everything I’ve learned in my professional career to start this company and build this website.  At the same time, traveling and photos have always been a major part of my life.  That’s how I got the idea for the online travel trivia game.”
