Bob recently served as CEO of Ugobe where he raised $24M from international investors to launch the first consumer life style robot company.  At Ugobe Bob created a vision for life like robotics that attracted worldwide press, distribution partners and strategic alliances with valuable contract manufacturers in Asia.  Today Ugobe is known worldwide for Pleo, it’s first life like robot and the enduring media coverage it continues to receive.  Bob’s experience includes President of InnerCircle 1, a membership forum that helps foster the enduring values of entrepreneurship of emerging technology companies in combination with investment principals and strategic guidance needed for their success.  Bob also served as Chief Strategist and President for Nikotel, a worldwide VoIP company in Hamburg, Germany with 10M customers; an early competitor to Skype.  Bob serves on the Board of the Oakland School for the Arts, a charter school created by Jerry Brown and as Advisor to emerging technology companies such as Surf Canyon, PRIMARQ and GetInsights.
