Barbara Parshall is the Founder & CEO of Baarb, Inc., an AI-driven travel platform based in Los Angeles, CA. A Boston native, Parshall attended Boston University and UMass Boston prior to beginning a career in technology. She left a life of snow to move closer to loved ones and currently lives in Venice, CA.
Parshall was featured in the Huffington Post as one of Four Female Entrepreneurs to Keep an Eye on 2017. She has also been featured recently in Entrepreneur, TNW, Startup Nation, Creator, and Social Media Today. In March 2017, Parshall was showcased by the Silicon Valley Forum’s Women in Tech Festival.
Prior to founding Baarb, Parshall was senior vice president for Fidelity Investments Institutional responsible for leading Fidelity’s technology and trading platform for financial intermediaries. She consulted for hundreds of startups including advisors, hedge funds, and robo-advisors on technology, strategy, and growth. Previously, she held senior roles at Bear Stearns and Schwab Institutional. In her first startup, Rica Swim, Parshall designed a line of reversible swimwear and related attire for women.
