If you're an entrepreneur or corporate innovator, why?

I believe great ideas belong out there, not locked in a drawer.

My favorite startups:

Airbnb, Slack, Evernote, Venmo

What's most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?

I'll to start with the good. Entrepreneurship depends on what you put into it. I find it very exhilarating to make things with little or no resources, because it challenges you, it pushes you to find creative ways to solve a problem ( to bring your idea to life). Yet, engrained in this experience is the challenge of pulling it off, and that in itself is a cause for frustration. That push and pull between creativity and frustration inevitably brings innovation.

What's the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs/innovators make?

Give up way too early.

What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?

- Entrepreneurship is like riding a roller coaster (fortunately I like theme parks)
- Brand yourself too, you're building more than a brand/product/service/app
- Balance is important; work and play keep the doctor away.
