Alberto Tretti is cofounder and jack-of-all trades at Glancee, a mobile app to meet people with common friends and similar interests. Previously he was a PhD student at the University of Illinois at Chicago collaborating with Motorola's research lab.

Before founding Glancee, Alberto was a PhD student in natural language processing at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He has collaborated with Motorola Labs to developed new algorithms to automatically describe large collections of text and video metadata. He has also served in leadership positions for the Graduate Student Council, the UIC International Club, and Rotary's Rotex Club.
