Vijay Pullur

Vijay Pullur is the Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of  SocialTwist and Pramati Technologies. SocialTwist is delivering a series of widget applications that add social elements to web and enterprise business applications. Tell-a-Friend is the first of such widgets targeted at websites and blogs to enable word of mouth marketing and viral distribution.

Prior to developing SocialTwist, the Pramati company created Dekoh, which competes with Adobe Air in terms of bringing the browser to the desktop, and the Pramati server, the very first Java application  in the world. Vijay has been involved with Java technology since the very beginning and is an active member of Java Community.

Vijay co-founded Pramati in 1998 with a goal to build world-class products from India. Prior to Pramati, Vijay consulted with several IT majors such as Sequent, Nortel, Ashton-Tate, Legent, InterVoice and OpenMarket, through Wipro Infotech a consulting giant from India.
