If you're an entrepreneur or corporate innovator, why?

I want to create something new that changes the world.

What's most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?

You take all of your problems home with you, but you take the wins home with you as well, and they are more important than anything.

What's the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs/innovators make?

Not failing fast. Not hiring the right people.

What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?

1. Fail fast
2. Bootstrap

I am  the Founder of UsingMiles.com. I started the company after dealing with the frustration of losing over 26,000 miles in United MileagePlus and wondering why there wasn't a better way to manage and use her miles and points. My professional experience includes running the marketing dept. at an email marketing start-up in Silicone Valley and a variety of sales and business development positions at Fortune 500 companies. I am a mentor for the Denver Founder’s Institute and was a 2008 graduate from the Techstars Incubator out of Boulder, Colorado.
