Ellen Leanse has built her career on creating loyalty for technology, consumer and membership enterprises.
During her ten years at Apple, Ellen championed product localization in Apple’s global markets, and—as Apple’s first User Evangelist—pioneered the company’s outreach to customer, enthusiast, and consultant communities. Her work since then has helped technology and consumer companies including Oracle, MCI, Samsung, HP and a range of venture-backed startups mobilize their best customers as advocates, viral marketers, and ambassadors of brand value. Constantly innovating to build customer loyalty and retention, she has guided numerous membership organizations, including user associations and social networks, in setting and achieving objectives for growth.
Ellen has balanced her work in high tech with Board roles for organizations supporting education and childrens’ mental health, through hands-on work with entrepreneurs in East Africa, and in competitive rowing. She was featured in an Inc. Magazine cover story on successful multitasking entrepreneurs.

Want to direct anyone interested to the app page on Facebook: http://www.facebo... People are building amazing Lists. We're loving the content, the creativity and all we're learning from watching our user community grow.

Big week...catching up after the Business Remix workshop (which Sajjad and I led last week) and then getting a few rough edges smoothed out on Lists. It's been great to watch how people used it over the long weekend. We had a real flurry of "Wish List" building...lots of cool stuff on people's Profiles!...and a couple of very active Lists being built by large groups of people. Please "Friend" me on Facebook if you're there...and let me know if I can send the app your way. It's working really well.

Thanks, Meliza...it's exciting to get this support and have people respond to our product. We're having some great things happen with it on Facebook, too. There seems to be a desire for people to consolidate certain "everyday" functions on the social netorks they use, and we're seeing people start to do that with Lists. It's cool, too, when people work together on Lists--they can share them and join in managing the results.
Thank you to all who have taken the time to watch and who have supported us with their vote. Cheers; many thanks...Ellen

Our Facebook app is steadily proving that list-building leads to transactions in social environments. We have added three iron-clad advisors, secured a small seed round to get us to the next proof of concept, and have just sent an overview to Target Corporation for further discussion. It's wild to be on this ride but--like any start-up--want even more momentum to speed our steps. Happy to answer any questions or tell you more. Thanks, Ellen
