MySpace CEO Owen Van Natta announced late Wednesday at the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco big advances for the social-network-turned-music-hub.

The company has landed a deal all the major labels to launch the most comprehensive archive of music videos available on the Web.

The company is also launching the MySpace Artist Dashboard, which will show artists data about their fanbase, such as iLike user adoption, geographic and demographic breakdown of fans etc. The idea is to help artists make more intelligent decisions like when and where to tour.

Van Natta, who came on as CEO in April, thinks the continued focus on music-centric products is key to the company's relevancy. Both products are now available on MySpace.
