In this segment of Lessons Learned for Entrepreneurs, Alison Gelb Pincus, co-founder of One Kings Lane, an online shopping destination which features world-renowned decor for the home, shares her lessons as an entrepreneur with Meliza Solan.

"The key lessons that I would share with other entrepreneurs is that you need to be very focused," Pincus said. "Create a product and stay true and focused on that product. You can easily get swayed and do so many different things but you need to hone in on your core value proposition.

"The second thing is that you need to stay motivated as well as believe in yourself, your talents, and your business model. Thirdly, the key point of advice would be to really get answers from experts. Don't be afraid to ask questions and seek help."

Message for Alison Gelb Pincus: hey Alison, thanks for that advice, all the information I pick up about being a good entrepreneuer comes directly from Vator.tv, and I am so delighted to hear your views on things, you symbolise everything I am not right now, but truly want to be, it's very inspiring to hear how you can just naturally elaborate on your points, I even took the time to reblog this at joshchandlerblog.com so that others can see your ideas :) Message for Meliza Solan: hey, thought things had been a little quiet from you, another top notch interview, currently I can say this is the one reason I return to the newsroom to see when you have written or created some new content, that is not saying I hate everyone else in the newsroom, it's just like a personal choice of how Meliza presents the news and information, but a huge kudos to everyone else who produces content you guys work hard to produce some great content, well done! :D

@Lorenzo: It's only obvious that your team has been true to their product. The second piece of advice in this interview is about staying motivated....it takes a lot of support to focus in that direction. So, thanks Lorenzo for constantly offering your insight because it plays a very big role in the way we are staying motivated and excited about what we are doing here at Vator!
