For all of you local artists and musicians...don't be surprised when I show up to the next open mic show without an instrument. I plan on performing on my iPhone. You too can play if you download Leaf Trombone, which is an iPhone application recently launched by Smule and worth only 99 cents. With this app you can listen others playing some pretty bizarre sounds, such as country twang or an exotic tune from overseas. You can rate your fellow musicians,if you can call them that and learn how to play! This definitely brings down the language barriers of communication.

I did saw the segment on Charlene Li interviewed by Bambi. I agree with the terminology of "friends" are use in social media. In reality thier is no such thing as "friends" online because the relationship is not genuine. A person may be lucky to develop friendship online but it can be rare. I think that social media should categorize the level of so call friendship, such as associates, business mates, and etc.

Excellent Show Meliza! It's quite amazing what you can do with technology, innovation, and ideas. It'll be interesting to see what 'friends' would become next? I'd say something like 'Followers' or 'People'. We'll see how fast this grows. Thanks for the show. :)
