Being an entrepreneur is exciting, but also challenging. Advice from other entrepreneurs and innovators who have experienced the ups and downs of building an organization or developing an idea into a product can be helpful and inspiring for one's own venture. Thus, we decided to put the spotlight on some of the innovators who shared their lessons with the Vator community. In this episode of the Vator Reports Peter Thiel discusses the challenges he faced as he was pitching and building PayPal. Other famous entrepreneurs and investors in the Vator community, including Vinod Koshla, Mark Cuban, Tim Draper, Trip Hawkins, Chris Larson, Vivek Ranadive and Blake Krikorian share their views on what makes or breaks a company. Finally, Peter talks about how the late economist Milton Friedman has inspired him as an entrepreneur.

What lessons have you learned in your career as an entrepreneur? Share your lesson with the community by posting a comment for this episode of the Vator Reports or by uploading a video on Vator.tv describing the challenges you faced developing your ideas/business/product and how you overcame them. Also, let us know who you view as your inspiration. Remember: Sharing your lessons provides for good business karma.

when your on the cutting edge of search for 8 years you create things no one has ever seen or imagined. ahead of the learning curve you can wait for others to catch up or keep on tapping the unchartered and improving on the your existing creation. contact me and i will tell you where you can see my monster. My advice is there are very TRUE creative VC's and inventive entrepreneurs in existince. When you ask them what they have invented or created or changed and most wont have an answer. To me a true entrepreneur is a social changer. Sees a problem and fixes it, generates fun and prosperity for others while making a profit at the same time. Billion dollar funds and corporations have a "moral obligation" to give back to society. how many do? There is enough wealth and prosperity for everyone on the planet if billionaires would not horde it. Alot of unfathomable selfish greed exists in society and VC's are on the top of it right along with walmart and google and all the other billionaires that dont use there wealth to improve the lives of others.
