Electronic Arts was founded in 1982 by Silicon Valley legend Trip Hawkins. EA, which was a pioneer in video game publishing and has become a leading game developer for computers, eventually went public and now has a market cap of $15 billion. In the first quarter of 2007, EA generated $613 million in revenue. In 2003, Trip founded Digital Chocolate - another video game publisher, but this time for mobile devices. The company offers many of the world's most popular games including Scarlotti's Mafia Wars 2, Mobile League WordJong, Bubble Ducky, and Johnny Crash.
