Shai Rozen

Today's entrepreneur is Shai Rozen,  CMO and Co-Founder at Suggestic.

Suggestic delivers actionable suggestions that help people make the right nutrition decisions at key moments in their day.  The underlying technology, which leverages state of the art artificial intelligence, dramatically increases user engagement for health, wellness, and fitness organizations.

Going on a diet can be a stressful and confusing process. As soon as we set restrictions, eating at restaurants, grocery shopping, and even just deciding what to grab for lunch can be daunting, causing many people to give up within days.

Here's a little about Shai:

I am a(n): Entrepreneur

Companies I've founded or co-founded: Quantconnect, Ganeselo

If you are an entrepreneur, why? I just can't sit still and not fix what I believe needs to be improved in the world.

What's most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?

Being a part of an extremely talented and motivated group of people that are building and shaping the future is the most rewarding. The most frustrating is that it is hard :-) but without that, there would be no reward.

What's the No. 1 mistake entrepreneurs make?

Either having a big vision with no plan on how to get there or having a very short-term plan without an end goal.

In other words: lack of focus and/or lack of vision.

What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?

- You need to love what you do, but passion is also created by working hard and becoming good at something.
- Never underestimate your users, they ARE the business.
- Only run when you know where you are going.
