From SoftTech VC, Intel Capital, Bain Capital... how do top investors make decision?

How is the landscape changing for early-stage investors? Given the influx of seed-stage financing and the dearth of Series A investments, are there opportunities for investors to make money? If so, what are they? At Vator Splash Oakland, we brought together top VCs - some focused only on early stages and some who are stage agnostic to share their tips on investing. Moderating the panel was Alastair Goldfisher, a VC reporter and editor at Thomson Reuters. On the panel were: Jeff Clavier, Founder & Partner, SoftTech VC,  Christine Herron (Partner, Intel Capital), and Salil Deshpande (Managing Director, Bain Capital Ventures).

Thanks to our Vator Splash Oakland video sponsor, Oakland Forward and Bryan Parker, Oakland Mayoral candidate.

Save the Date: Splash LA is Oct. 2 in Santa Monica. Speakers include Jessica Alba and Brian Lee, Founders of The Honest Company, Michael Heyward, Founder & CEO, Whisper, Mike Jones, Founder & CEO, Science, and many more. Register here
