Short URL:

Today's Entrepreneur is Paiman Vahdati, CEO and Founder of Flickflyer, which is a mobile app for today’s digital sellers/buyers who are constrained to traditional, time-consuming marketplaces. The Flickflyer app provides a B2B/B2C social marketplace where sellers can easily record and upload video listings from their smartphone, unlike the competition. The product delivers a simpler, more intuitive and engaging platform that saves sellers time, and gives buyers the confidence to make purchasing decisions.

Flickflyer is one of the top 15 finalist to present at Splash Oakland on May 6-7. Be sure to support Vahdati and Flickflyer. Register here.

Vahdati graduated from SJSU with a degree in Economics/Finance. Here's a look at his entrepreneurial background.

If you are an entrepreneur, why?

I want to change the world.

What's most frustrating and rewarding about entrepreneurship/innovation?

It's frustrating that everything that you're trying to do, you've most likely never done before and so you feel lost, but ultimately, you find a way to leverage what you have and execute and the results are often very rewarding.

What are the top three lessons you've learned as an entrepreneur?

1. Creativity > $, if you're trying to get users, hire people, create partnerships
2. Negative Feedback > Positive, better to solicit feedback that you can act on to create a better product
3. Building relationships > building a company, you can't grow a company without the former
