Serial entrepreneur-turned-VC talks to Bambi Francisco

Dave Samuel recently sat down with Bambi Francisco to share his views on the startup landscape and what he and his partner, Josh Felser, look for in startups they invest in. Both Samuel and Felser started Freestyle to be a new seed-stage fund. With $27 million under management, Freestyle has invested in 41 startups and has had 10 exits.

Prior to being a VC, Samuel was previously founder/CEO of Spinner.com, the largest web 1.0 music streaming service (acquired by AOL in 1999 for $320MM), and founder/President of Crackle.com, a web 2.0 video platform (acquired by Sony in 2006 for $65MM).
