Good and bad news for Apple today: it’s expected to continue to dominate the tablet market through 2014, according to estimates released today by Gartner, but its market share will continue to erode over the next few years.

 

 

 

 

Dashlane, a stealth startup that vaguely promises to help consumers “do more” online, raised $5 million in a Series A round co-led by Rho Ventures and FirstMark Capital. Dashlane co-founder Bernard Liautaud also participated in the round

Drchrono, the mobile electronic health record (EHR) app for the iPad, announced that its app now includes free e-prescribing, FreeDraw, and faxing.

Clean technology accelerator Greenstart unveiled the first four startups admitted into its incubator program. The primary criterion for startups admitted into this incubator is that they either work toward expanding clean energy or reducing dirty energy.

 

 

Behavioral commerce and real-time marketing company SteelHouse released a survey showing 82% of people plan to change their shopping habits this year.

Twitter says it's launching a new advertising program specifically targeting politicians, working closely with campaign promoters, in an interview with POLITICO.
