Netflix CEO Reed Hastings: "I messed up"; One Kings Lane, CrowdTwist, ActivePath all funded

ActivePath, developer of ActiveMail Interactive Email and Messaging solutions, secured a $10 million financing round led by Battery Ventures and Gimv NV, with participation from existing investors including Genesis Partners

CrowdTwist, a leading social loyalty and rewards platform, secured $6 million in equity financing in a Series A round led by SoftBank Capital and Fairhaven Capital.

 

NICE Systems, provider of insights into customer interactions and intent, agreed to acquire Fizzback, provider of a real-time Voice of the Customer (VoC) solution.

 

 

Netflix took to its blog late Sunday night in an attempt to stanch the flow of bailing shareholders.  In a startlingly humble post, CEO Reed Hastings opens up with a blunt: “I messed up.”

One Kings Lane, a flash sales site in the home market, raised $40 million in Series C financing led by new investor, Tiger Global Management
