Everything I know about high-end living and classy dinner parties, I learned from “The Real Housewives of New York City.”  That’s where I learned that Quoque is the ghetto of the Hamptons, and that when you walk into a fancy dinner party, it's customary to yell, “Where’s my pinot?!”  And speaking of the Hamptons, now you, too, can live it up in style at the country’s most fashionable vacation spot via the Gilt City Hamptons House, which launched Wednesday.

Gilt City, Gilt Groupe’s answer to local deals, offers luxury deals in ten major cities throughout the U.S., including New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Miami, Seattle, Boston, Atlanta, and more. As part of Gilt City New York, the Hamptons House is a 6000-square-foot East Hamptons estate where Gilt City will host a number of lively summer vacation experiences, from brunches and dinner parties to barbeques, movie screenings, and yoga with none other than Russel Simmons himself.  Other summer packages include dinners and classes hosted by renowned chefs, such as Michael White of Marea, Sam Talbot of Surf Lodge, Scott Conant of Scarpetta, Laurent Gras, Spike Mendelsohn of “Top Chef” fame, Tim Love of The Lonesome Dove Western Bistro, and Claudia Fleming of The North Fork Table & Inn.

An outdoor movie screening event will be hosted by “Groundswell” author Katie Lee, while Food Network Magazine will host cocktails with Sandra Lee, and The Spotted Pig hosts the Gilt City Beach Club barbeque.

The house itself features a 45-foot pool, complete with a spa, pool-house, and gym, and it’s within walking distance of East Hampton village.  And—no joke—there will be a Godiva chocolate lounge where guests can browse and indulge in Godiva chocolates.

Of course, it’s the Hamptons, so these little summer excursions aren’t going to come cheap.  Tickets to Gerry Hayden and Claudia Fleming’s three-course dinner are $125 a piece, while tickets to the sushi poolside party hosted by Nobu are $75 a piece.

Tickets to Gilt City Hamptons House events will be on sale from July 27 to the end of August, and events will be held throughout the month of August and into early September.  Gilt City partnered with a number of brands to launch the Hamptons House, including Amstel Light, Bonobos, Brown Jordan, Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte, Delta Air Lines, Exhale Spa, FIJI Water, Food Network Magazine, Godiva Chocolate Infused Vodka, Godiva Chocolatier, Godiva Liqueur, Great Performances, Hendrick’s Gin, Melitta, Milagro Tequila, Planeta Wines, POM Wonderful, Sailor Jerry Rum, Stolichnaya Vodka and Trovata.
