Twitter acquires analytics platform BackType; Verizon bids adieu to unlimited data plan

Twitter analytics platform BackType was acquired by Twitter. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Cloud computing provider CloudShare closed a $10 million funding round led by Globespan Capital Partners and joined by existing investors Sequoia Capital, Charles River Ventures and Gemini Israel Funds.

 

Brightstar Corp., a services and solutions provider for the wireless industry, acquired a majority stake in Flipswap, an electronics buyback program. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
