After battles with drugs and producers, Sheen turns to Twitter to vent about... #tigerblood

“I am on a drug.  It’s called Charlie Sheen. It’s not available because if you try it you will die. Your face will melt off and your children will weep over your exploded body.”

So spoke the tiger blood-infused, Adonis DNA-designed, always winning American actor known best as Charlie Sheen. In light of a recent personal battle with drug abuse and a professional battle with producers for his show “Two and a Half Men,” Sheen has been exploding all over the media with quotable lines that make Kanye West sound as tame as the responsible publicist he never had.

But if you haven’t heard enough from him in TV and radio interviews or on every celebrity blog ever, then you’ll be happy to hear that Sheen has created his very own Twitter account, and it’s verified.

Though he just created the account yesterday, the actor has already amassed 887,247 followers, though that number appears to be growing by 10,000 every half hour or so. At this rate, he’s set to hit a million followers in just over 24 hours.

Now we can all hear the hardcore bits of unprecedented wisdom straight from the warlock’s mouth.

If you’re confused about all this winning, warlock, tiger blood, Adonis DNA talk, you’re not the only one. The majority of Sheen’s tweets reference at least one of these tokens of awesomeness, each of which seems to be one of Sheen’s original concoctions.

Perhaps even more astonishing than how quickly Sheen’s account has attracted followers (or maybe you saw this coming) is how quickly his tweets are becoming memes. One of Sheen’s favorite hashtags, #tigerblood, is currently trending on Twitter around the world, despite the fact that it really doesn’t seem to mean anything more than “I am a badass.”

In any case, this just seems to indicate once again that the media machine has lost much (not all) of its power to tell the entire story. Whether you think Sheen is a drug-addled actor out of control or just a funny dude trying to screw with the world, you’ll be able to make that judgment yourself by looking directly at the man’s tweets.
