Bowtie: BowTie is a web development company provides customized solutions to healthcare and public sector. A year-old, Hong Kong-based insurance startup, has raised $30 million in Series A funding led by Sun Life Hong Kong, with participation from Hong Kong X Technology. Read more 

Boosted: Boosted Boards designs and builds powerful lightweight electric vehicles that are extremely fun to ride and perfect for the last mile of your commute. 6-year-old, Mountain View, Ca.-based company has raised $60 million in Series B funding co-led by Khosla Ventures and iNovia Capital, with participation from Stanford-StartX Fund and Bay Meadows. ACV Auctions: ACV provides a pricing application (app) for franchise dealers. 4-year-old, Buffalo, N.Y.-based company has raised $93 million in Series D funding co-led by Bain Capital Ventures and Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from Future Fund, Tribeca Ventures and Armory Square Ventures. Earnin: Earnin gives people access to their pay directly from their smartphones, whenever they need it. 6-year-old, Palo Alto, Ca.-based company has raised $125 million in new funding from DST Global, Andreessen Horowitz, Spark Capital, Matrix Partners, March Capital Partners, Coatue Management, Ribbit Capital, and the a16z Cultural Leadership Fund. Pandion Therapeutics: Pandion Therapeutics is a biotechnology company developing bispecific antibody therapeutics to achieve localized immunomodulation at the site of disease for durable, tissue-specific treatment of patients with autoimmune and inflammatory disease and organ transplants. 2-year-old, Cambridge, Ma.-based company has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from the JDRF T1D Fund.
