Dutchie: Dutchie is an online ordering platform connecting consumers to local dispensaries. Users can type in their address, find dispensaries in their area, view menus, and order via web or mobile for delivery or pickup. It makes buying cannabis easy, safe and convenient.  Dutchie has raised $3 million in seed round led by Casa Verde Capital, with participation from the Durant Company, early DoorDash executives and Sinai Ventures. Read more »

The Socotra Platform is built from the ground-up using the latest technologies to be transparent, reliable, flexible, and secure. Socotra has raised $5.5 million in Series A funding led by 8VC. The Markup: The Markup a news site dedicated to investigating technology and its effect on society. The Markup writes investigative reports on the harms brought by emerging technologists. Former Jeff Larson and Julia Angwin founded the news site. The Markup has received $20 million in funding from some big donors that include Craigslist founder Craig Newmark. Read more »
