Congratulations to our runner up: Blumio!

The ballots are in! They have all been counted and recounted, and we have a winner for this year's Vator Splash Health, Wellness & Wearables 2017.

Hubert Zajicek of Health Wildcatters, and one of the sponsors and judges of the competition, announced the winner late Thursday. Upon opening the envelope, he said, "And the winner is... La La Land!!!!"

Good one Hubert!

Err... Sorry, we mean Iris Plans!

Iris Plans delivers Advance Care Planning (ACP) services via telehealth to people facing serious illness. Our ACP solution significantly reduces unnecessary care, a $210B problem that creates waste and human suffering. The Iris Plans platform allows our healthcare professionals to meet by video/phone with patients and their families. The platform also customizes the ACP process to the patient’s medical conditions and unique circumstances, ultimately producing official healthcare directives and a plan to guide major healthcare decisions.

It is reaching 110 physicians who oversee 200000 patients. The company has already served 500 patients. It has raised $1 million from Better Ventures and angels.

We also want to say congratulations to our People's Choice winner: Blumio!
