YC partner, FriendFeed founder gives his advice to startups

Here's your lesson of the day! At VatorNews, we have thousands of sage advice from seasoned entrepreneurs. Many have asked if we could showcase one every day as a constant reminder of what it takes to build and scale a startup. So here you go!

Today's lesson is from Paul Buchheit, co-founder of FriendFeed (which sold to Facebook for $50 million not even two years after launching) and a partner at the famed Y Combinator accelerator.

Buchheit also worked at Google as employee No. 23 and he led the development of both Gmail and AdSense. Bet you didn't know that he was also the first to suggest  Google's motto: "Don't be evil."
